Data privacy policy
Data privacy policy
As a user of our website, this privacy policy provides you with all the necessary information on how, to what extent and for what purpose we or third-party providers collect data from you and use it. The collection and use of your data is strictly in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG). We feel particularly committed to the confidentiality of your personal data and therefore work strictly within the limits set by the law. The collection of this personal data is done on a voluntary basis, if this is possible for us. We also only pass this data on to third parties with your express consent. We ensure a high level of security for particularly confidential data such as in payment transactions or with regard to your inquiries to us by using SSL encryption. However, we would like to take this opportunity to point out the general dangers of Internet use over which we have no control. Especially in e-mail traffic, your data is not secure without further precautions and can possibly be captured by third parties.
Information, deletion, blocking
You can obtain information free of charge at any time about the personal data we have stored about you and about the origin, recipient and purpose of data collection and data processing. You also have the right to demand the correction, blocking or deletion of your data. Excluded from this is data that is kept due to legal regulations or is required for proper business processing. To ensure that a data block can be implemented at any time, data is kept in a blocking file for control purposes. If data is not covered by a legal archiving obligation, we will delete your data at your request. If the archiving obligation applies, we will block your data. For all questions and concerns regarding the correction, blocking or deletion of personal data, please contact our data protection officer using the contact details in this privacy policy or at the address given in the imprint.
Provision of chargeable services
If you wish to use the chargeable services offered on our website, we may need to collect further data from you for billing purposes and for security reasons. As a rule, this involves your name, a valid e-mail address and, if applicable, your address and telephone number, as well as other information depending on the individual case. This may also involve content that allows us to verify the data provided, such as your ownership with regard to the e-mail address provided. For legal reasons, we must ensure that you actually want to receive the services offered and that we can properly invoice you for the service. We work in payment transactions to secure your data with the encryption standard SSL, recognizable by the browser line “https://”.
Collection of access data
The delivery and presentation of content via our website technically requires the collection of certain data. When you access our website, these so-called server log files are collected by us or the provider of the web space. These log files do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about you and your person. The corresponding information consists of the name of the website, the file, the current date, the amount of data, the web browser and its version, the operating system used, the domain name of your Internet provider, the referrer URL as the page from which you accessed our site, and the corresponding IP address. We use this data for the presentation and delivery of our content as well as for statistical purposes. The information supports the provision and continuous improvement of our offer. We also reserve the right to check the aforementioned data retrospectively should there be any suspicion of illegal use of our offer.
Third-party content and services
The offer on our website may also include content, services and performances from other providers that complement our offer. Examples of such offers are maps from Google Maps, YouTube videos or graphic representations of third parties. Calling up these third-party services regularly requires the transmission of your IP address. This makes it possible for these providers to perceive your user IP address and also to store it. We make every effort to include only those third-party providers that use IP addresses solely for the purpose of delivering content. However, we have no influence on which third-party provider stores the IP address, if any. This storage may serve statistical purposes, for example. If we become aware of storage processes by third-party providers, we will immediately inform our users of this fact. In this context, please also note the specific privacy statements of individual third-party providers and service providers whose services we use on our website. They can also be found in this privacy policy.
Personal data
In the context of data avoidance and data economy, we collect personal data only to the extent and for the duration necessary for the use of our website or as required by law. We take the protection of your personal data seriously and strictly adhere to the relevant legal regulations and this privacy policy when collecting and processing personal data. If the purpose of the data collection ceases to apply or if the end of the legal storage period has been reached, the collected data will be blocked or deleted. As a rule, our website can be used without disclosing personal data. If we collect personal data – such as your name, address or e-mail address – this data collection is voluntary. This data will not be disclosed to third parties without your express consent. Please note that data is generally not always transmitted securely on the Internet. Especially in e-mail traffic, protection during data exchange cannot be guaranteed.
By filling out online forms for inquiries or sample requests, as well as by clicking the “Next Step” button on the registration page, you are voluntarily transferring personal data to us for the intended use.
Newsletter
By voluntarily entering your e-mail address in our newsletter and confirming this by double opt-in procedure, you declare your consent to receive our e-mail newsletter. You can object to this use of your e-mail address at any time. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Each e-mail contains an “unsubscribe” link. To receive the newsletter, it is sufficient to provide an e-mail address. Additional voluntary information is only used to personalize the newsletter.
Cookies
So-called cookies are used to recognize multiple use of our offer by the same user. Cookies are small text files that your Internet browser stores on your computer. When you visit our site again, these cookies provide information to automatically recognize you. The information thus obtained is used to optimize our offers and to provide you with easier access to our site. You can generally prevent cookies from being stored on your hard drive by selecting “do not accept cookies” in your browser settings. However, this may result in a functional restriction of our offers.
Server log files
The server log files are anonymized data that are collected when you access our website. This information does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about you personally, but is indispensable for technical reasons for the delivery and presentation of our content. Furthermore, they serve our statistics and the continuous optimization of our content. Typical log files are the date and time of access, the amount of data, the browser used for access and its version, the operating system used, the domain name of your provider, the page from which you came to our site (referrer URL) and your IP address. Log files also enable a precise check in the event of suspicion of unlawful use of our website.
Google AdWords
We use Google AdWords on our website, an online advertising program from Google Inc. that also uses conversion tracking. With this tool, Google AdWords sets a cookie on your PC when you come to our website via a Google ad. The cookie is no longer valid after 30 days. It does not serve any personal traceability. If you visit our website as a user and the cookie is still working, it will be recognizable to us together with Google that you clicked on the corresponding ad and were redirected to our site. In the process, a different cookie is assigned to each Google AdWords customer. Cookies are thus not traceable via the websites of AdWords customers. Conversion statistics for AdWords customers are created with the data collected by conversion cookies. As customers, we thus learn the total number of users who responded to our ad and were then redirected to a web page that was tagged with a conversion tracking tag. We do not receive any information during this process that would allow us to personally identify you as a user. If you reject the tracking procedure, the Google conversion tracking cookie can be deactivated via your Internet browser. If necessary, use the help function of the browser for further information. You can find out more about Google’s privacy policy at https://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.
Use of Google Analytics
We use the web analytics service Google Analytics from Google Inc. on our website, which uses cookies. These are text files that are stored on your PC and allow an analysis of your user behavior in relation to our website. The cookies generate information that is transferred to a Google server. These servers are usually located in the United States, but follow agreements for the use of the European Economic Area and shorten your IP address before transmission to the United States. Only in exceptional cases is the IP address shortened only after transmission to the USA. Google evaluates the transmitted information and provides further services for us website operators in this context. In this context, the determined IP address is not merged with other Google services. You can prevent cookies from being stored on your computer by changing your browser settings. However, this may result in display and functional restrictions when using our website. A browser plug-in also prevents the collection and use of the data generated by the cookies. You can download it from the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de Learn more about the privacy policy of Google and Google Analytics at: https://www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/.
Google Maps Plugin
We use a plugin of the internet service Google Maps on our website. The operator of Google Maps is Google Inc., located in the USA, CA 94043, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View. By using Google Maps on our website, information about the use of this website and your IP address is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and also stored on this server. We have no knowledge about the exact content of the transmitted data, nor about their use by Google. In this context, the company denies the connection of the data with information from other Google services and the collection of personal data. However, Google may transmit the information to third parties. If you disable Javascript in your browser, you prevent Google Maps from running. However, you will then also not be able to use any map display on our website. By using our website, you consent to the described collection and processing of information by Google Inc. You can find out more about the privacy policy and terms of use for Google Maps here: https://www.google.com/intl/de_de/help/terms_maps.html.
Google reCAPTCHA
We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on this website. The provider is Google Ireland Limited (“Google”), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
The purpose of reCAPTCHA is to verify whether data entry on this website (e.g. in a contact form) is made by a human or by an automated program. For this purpose, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis starts automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various information (e.g. IP address, time spent by the website visitor on the website or mouse movements made by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.
The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not notified that an analysis is taking place.
The storage and analysis of the data is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offers from abusive automated spying and from SPAM.
If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO; the consent can be revoked at any time.
For more information on Google reCAPTCHA, please refer to the Google Privacy Policy and the Google Terms of Use under the following links: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de and https://policies.google.com/terms?hl=de.
For analysis and marketing purposes, HERRMANN Druck+Media uses products and services that are provided by Visable GmbH (www.visable.com) in cooperation with the latter. For this purpose, pixel-counting technology and cookies are used to collect, process and store data in order to create user profiles that are at least pseudonymous and, where possible and appropriate, completely anonymous. The collected data, which may initially still contain personal data, is transmitted to Visable or collected directly by Visable and used there to create the above-mentioned usage profiles. Visitors to this website are not personally identified and no other personal data is merged with the usage profiles. If IP addresses are identified as personal, they are deleted immediately.
You can object to the forms of processing described here at any time with effect for the future: Exclude visitor tracking (note: link sets a 1st-party cookie for an opt-out).
